WHO CAN USE A TEXAS LICENSE?

Though the Texas Department of Insurance, applicants must be at least 18 years old, complete pre-licensing education, pass the Texas All-Lines Adjuster exam, submit fingerprints for a background check, and pay the required fees. Applicants with certain criminal convictions may be ineligible for the license.

LICENSING INFORMATION

To obtain an Adjuster License in Texas, individuals must pass a state exam, complete pre-licensing education, and submit fingerprints for a background check, as regulated by the Texas Department of Insurance. Texas also has reciprocal licensing agreements with many other states, making it easier for adjusters to work in multiple states.
